What an amazing approach in the Netherlands to make someone with dementia feel comfortable and normal. It makes complete sense!
These steps, or something similar, should be commonplace everywhere seniors living with dementia are. The Netherlands takes it to a high level, but there are many ways to honor a senior’s past and put them in a position of control.
This is the approach I take with the activities I do with seniors.
